December is usually really busy in removals and with Christmas just around the corner we have indeed been busy moving lots of lovely customers in to their new homes before the big man arrives!!
At the start of the week we were back at Bolsover moving a customer and delivering packing materials to some of the other customers we are moving in the New Year. We also moved the lovely Mrs H within Chesterfield who we moved 3 years before!! We love it when customers come back to us…. It means we’re doing something right.
We moved another repeat customer on Tuesday Mrs B, she was moving back from Chester to Worsbrough, Barnsley.
We also moved Mrs M in to storage from Thurgoland, she needed space whilst she carried out some home renovations. We offer great rates for long or short-term storage.
On Wednesday we moved Mr K from Sheffield to Lincoln; I will always have a soft spot for Lincoln as it’s where I went to University. It was only a small removal using our 3.5 ton vehicle; so whether you have a large or small removal we can help get you moved.
Thursday saw us back in Bolsover for the last contract job of 2017. We also started day 1 of Mr P’s removal from High Green, Sheffield; him and his wife were relocating to Stoke Golding, Nuneaton to be nearer to their son. They were a lovely couple and thankfully we moved them on the Friday with no delays.
Friday true to form was busy; we were in Mansfield moving Mrs Allen. Her removal started out smoothly enough and we were loaded and waiting for keys from 12.30 unfortunately for her she didn’t get keys until 4.30!! At the end she couldn’t thank the team enough so everyone left happy.
We also moved Mr & Mrs Pegg; who were moving from a large 5 bed property. Following a rep visit from Terry we knew access was going to be an issue so we sent 2 x 7.5 ton vans rather than our 15 ton. The customers were informed that they needed to be out by 2pm so it was all hands-on deck to get the vans loaded. The customer had the keys already so we could get them unloaded and in their new home ahead of schedule.
On Saturday we moved Nicola out of storage to her property in Sheffield, S10
